| Mineral Insulated Thermocouple with Standard Head & Process Connection |
These semi rigid thermocouples are ideal for all applications from simple temperature measurement to more arduous environments. They have insulated junctions to prevent earth loops and can be formed to shape to suit particular applications without impairing performance. A standard weatherproof die cast alloy head is incorporated and is ideal where a heavy duty connection with cable is to be made near the sensor. A 1/2” NPT process connection thread is fitted directly below the terminal head for easy mounting of the sensor in to the process.
- Thermocouple types K, T, J or N available in a variety of lengths - 0.250” dia
- Sheath Material: Type K - 304 Stainless Steel or Inconel 600®, Type T or J - 304 Stainless Steel and Type N which has a Nicrotherm DTM sheath
- The operating range of these sensors is shown in the order code boxes
- Insulated Junction
- 1/2” NPT process connection thread (length taken from under hex of process thread)
- Terminated in an IP67 standard weatherproof die cast alloy head rated to 275ºF
- The maximum operating temperature is dependant on diameter and environmental factors, further guidance is available here.
