| External/Rugged Air Temperature Sensor |
This air temperature sensor is ideal for external applications as the connections are enclosed in a weatherproof connection box. It is also most suited to internal applications which require a rugged box. The sensor itself is housed within a perforated stainless steel tube which allows a free flow of air across the sensor element which in turn will give a good response time. A version is also available with a 4-20mA transmitter for those requiring a standard transducer signal.
- Metal enclosure dimensions: 3.14” x 2.91” x 2.12”
- Sheath dimensions: 0.50” dia x 3.0” long
- 3 wire configuration
- Sensor: 100 ohm RTD element, Alpha = 0.00385, Class B or alternatively with an optional 4-20mA transmitter incorporated
- Wire termination: Screw terminal block
- Mounting: Suited to wall mounting via screw holes in back of case
- Cable entry: Via weatherproof cable gland supplied
- Operating range: -25ºF to 300ºF (-30ºC to +150ºC)
