PFA Thermowells
PFA Thermowells Our range of PTFE thermowells are ideally suited to applications which require resistance to attack from virtually all known chemicals, oils and fluids. For use with our range of 0.250” diameter stainless steel sheathed thermocouple or Pt100 sensors, they are gas, steam and water tight to a pressure of 15PSI. Used in applications where the removal of the sensor could prove complicated such as in a vessel, pipe or tank. They are 0.472” O.D. and are available with a 1/2” NPT taper process entry thread and 1/4” NPT parallel sensor entry thread. Immersion length (under the thread) is either 3.25” (to suit our 6” long sensors), 9.25” (for 12” long sensors) 15.25” (for 18” long sensors) or 33.25” (for 36” long sensors). Use a 1/4” NPT PTFE fitting (or stainless steel if clear of the difficult environment) to attach the sensor to the thermowell.

  • Available in 3.25”, 9.25”, 15.25” and 33.25” insertion lengths for use respectively with 6”, 12”, 18” and 36” long temperature sensors
  • Sheath material: PTFE
  • Male Thread: 1/2” NPT, Female Thread: 1/4” NPT
  • Operating range: -100ēF to +482ēF (-75ēC to +250ēC)
